First Step

This is not quite my first step. I have been doing Brazons and practicing joining lugs with cheap 4130 steep tube. Last week I confirmed with Doug Fattic I'd be at his frame class beginning April 16. I've bought airfare, rented a car, and reserved lodging. I've also begun to acquire my frame building components. I emailed pal Richard Sachs for several sets of lugs and forkcrowns. If I'm gonna build a frame it will be with his parts. The frame I'm going to build will be a sporty bike built to be used with fenders. More than 50% of my riding is before the sun rises and many times on wet roads and since this bike will be built for me it should reflect how I ride.
